Starting from April 2024, Kubota Rice Industry (HAWAII) Inc. (hereafter referred to as Kubota Hawaii) has launched its business of importing, milling, and selling Japanese rice. By importing Japanese rice as brown rice and milling it locally in Hawaii, we aim to contribute to the rich dietary culture of Hawaii, which is said to have the highest per capita rice consumption in the United States, as well as to the state's primary industry, tourism.

Our mission is to create a new food culture in Hawaii using freshly milled Japanese rice. Through rice, we aim to strengthen the ties between Hawaii and Japan even further and strive to become an indispensable company in Hawaii. All of our employees are committed to working hard towards this goal.
